Shout out to my cousin for letting me use her anthropomorphized animal toys.
Long Shot

Long shots frame the character while still being able to see its environment. The main focus is on the character and is typically framed to be able to see the entire character. This angle is good for storytelling because you can still see the character in good detail but still see the environment around it.
Full Shot

Full shots frame the character from head to toe. Is generally used for action shots or talking scenes when the character/s is walking. It doesn’t focus on emotions of the character.
Medium Shot

Medium shots frame the character from the waist up to the head. It shows the character in better detail. Is most common shot used in film because it show the character very well as well as the environment around them.
Close-Up

Close-ups fill the frame almost entirely with the characters face. Used to show reactions and emotions the character has to the events around them.
Over-the-Shoulder Shot

Over-the-shoulder shots frame the speaking character over the shoulder of the character they’re talking to. Arguably the most used shot when two characters are talking to each other. Allows audience to be able to see the actions of both characters very well.
